Kailua Baptist Preschool was founded in 1967 as an outreach ministry of Kailua Baptist Church. Kailua Baptist Preschool emphasizes the development of the whole child through creative activities in five core areas: cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. We use Creative Curriculum which is hands-on approach providing age-appropriate learning centers in each classroom. We believe children develop socially by being actively involved in thinking and reasoning with real experiences. Daily, whether it is through song, story, or prayer, our preschoolers are introduced to the wonderful world around them and God’s place in it. Once a week, we have chapel, where we pray and go through the Bible with the children. We teach about the gospel of Jesus Christ, and how all the Bible points to Him and His saving work.

Kailua Baptist Preschool is a part- time program focused on the social- emotional, cognitive and spiritual development of each child by providing learning through play for children 3 years through 5 years of age. Our school uses Creative Curriculum throughout our centers. Children entering the 3-year-old program must be 3 years old by July 31 of the current year and fully potty trained. We begin registration for the fall school year in February. We put all interested families on a waitlist. It is a first come first serve basis.

We offer several class options: 2 day for 3 year old’s only,(T/TH), 3 day (M/W/F), 5 day (M-F). All classes have the option of half day and full day. All children need to bring a home lunch, AM, and PM snack is provided.

If you would like to come by for a visit, please call the school office at 808-262-6070 to set up an appointment. You may call the school and put your child’s name on the wait list before visiting the school at no cost.

Tuition rates will vary according to what program you choose to enroll your child in. Nonrefundable registration fee $225 due at time of registration.
