Kailua Baptist Preschool

The preschool is fully licensed by the state of Hawaii, Department of Human Services.

 

KBP emphasizes the development of the whole child through creative activities in five core areas: cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual.Our curriculum is based on a hands-on approach providing age-appropriate learning centers in each classroom.

 

We believe children develop socially by being actively involved in thinking and reasoning with real experiences.

 

Daily, whether it is through song, story, or prayer, our preschoolers are introduced to the wonderful world around them and God's place in it.

 

Once a week we have chapel.  At this time, bible stories highlight the values of love, patience, kindness, and obedience.

 

Also, once a week we have music appreciation class.

 

Kailua Baptist Preschool is a part time program focused on social-emotional development and providing leaning though play for children 3 through play for children 3 through 5 years of age.  Children entering a 3 year old program must be 3 years old by December 31 of the current year.

 

We have before school care  from 8 to 8:30 for a norminal fee and the regular hours are from 8:30 to 11:30 with extra care until 2:30 if needed.  Children staying for lunch are asked to bring their lunch as lunch is not provided by the school. Snack is provided in the morning and the afternoon.

 

An informal interview and school visit is required for all prospective students and parents.  Please call the school office at 808/262-6070 to set up an appointment.

You may call the school and put your child's name on the wait list before visiting the school at no cost.

 

Tuition rates will vary according to what program you choose to enroll your child in.

3-year olds (2 & 3-day): 10 children, 1 teacher, 1 aide

3-year olds (5-day): 11 children, 1 teacher, 1 aide

4-year olds: 14 children, 1 teacher, 1 aide
